Our Story
Hi, I’m Tjaša, the owner of Tika, an Afghan Hound.
The idea for dog boots came about very simply — first at the seaside, during the hottest summer days, when I wanted to safely walk my dog back to our apartment. That was the first time boots truly came in handy and prevented Tika from burning her paws on hot asphalt.
They proved even more useful in winter, when road salt had already caused her to start limping. That’s when I truly realised how important proper paw protection is — not only for comfort, but also for a dog’s health.
These experiences made me think about how useful dog boots really are — and how difficult it is to find ones that are both beautiful, stay securely on the paws, and are made from high-quality materials. That’s how the brand Tika-Pika was born.
